English term or phrase: systemic venous atrium
Bonjour,

Je n'ai pas beaucoup de contexte...
La phrase arrive comme un cheveux sur la soupe, puis on passe à autre chose :
There is spontaneous contrast in the systemic venous atrium.

Voici des phrases avec plus de contexte...

The postoperative anatomy of the Senning interatrial diversion was defined by two-dimensional contrast echocardiography in ten patients. A modified apical four-chamber view proved most valuable, allowing for simultaneous visualization of both the systemic venous atrium and the pulmonary venous atrium. The anatomy was confirmed with two-dimensional contrast echocardiography utilizing catheters placed in the systemic venous atrium and pulmonary venous atrium at the time of surgery.

Et :

We present the case of a young woman corrected with a Mustard procedure undergoing successful transvenous double chamber pacemaker implantation with the atrial lead placed in the systemic venous channel. The case presented demonstrates that, when the systemic venous atrium is separate from the left atrial appendage, the lead can be easily and safely placed in the systemic venous left atrium gaining satisfactory sensing and pacing thresholds despite consisting partially of pericardial tissue.

He subsequently underwent a modified Mustard repair by Dr Mustard at age 9. By his report, he was the third patient to have the Mustard repair. In a conventional Mustard repair, baffles are created to redirect venous inflow, so deoxygenated blood enters the pulmonary circulation and oxygenated blood enters the systemic circulation.1 The vena cavae are baffled into the ****morphological left atrium (termed the systemic venous atrium)**** that empties into the morphological left ventricle before entering the pulmonary artery. The pulmonary veins (PVs) are baffled to the**** morphological right atrium (termed the pulmonary venous atrium)***** with the flow then crossing the systemic atrioventricular valve (morphological tricuspid valve) into the morphological right ventricle (RV; termed the systemic RV) before entering the aorta. However, his left PVs were not baffled and continued to drain into the systemic venous atrium
