Italian term or phrase: ROT torridi e simmetrici
From a physical exam of patient with chronic lumbar pain:

Esame obiettivo neurologico: Lasagne neg. no deficit motorio. ROT torridi e simmetrici.

I know ROT is deep tendon reflexes, but I have never seen it describe as Torrido.

Any ideas?

Un riflesso è in genere classificato come: ASSENTE (areflessia) / TORPIDO (evocabile con difficoltà e/o con manovre di sensibilizzazione: iporeflessia) / NORMOEVOCABILE / VIVACE (non necessariamente patologico, normale specie nel giovane e nel soggetto ansioso) / SCATTANTE (a latenza molto breve, accentuato, può essere patologico) / POLICINETICO (il movimento è ripetuto più volte e l’eccitabilità è molto aumentata; si può accompagnare a clono ed all’estensione dell’area reflessogena).
