In the first stage, 14 subjects will be accrued.
If there are 3 or fewer responses in these 14 subjects, the cohort will be stopped.
Otherwise, 24 additional subjects will be accrued for a total of 38 in the cohort.
The null hypothesis will be rejected if 14 or more responses are observed in 38 subjects in the cohort.
This design yields a type I error rate of 0.05 and power of 81.5% when the true ORR = 40%.
