“Poliposi clinica in follow up colonscopico, IPA, MRGE.”
Referto medico.
Io pensavo di tradurre così:
“Colic polyposis found during a colonoscopy follow-up, ___, GERD”
Non riesco a trovare il significato di IPA e quindi il corrispondente inglese. Qualcuno sa a cosa si riferisce ? Inoltre cari colleghi cosa ne pensate dell’impostazione della frase?

Oltre al suggerimento di Joseph (ipertensione arteriosa polmonare), l'acronimo è anche ampiamente utilizzato per indicare l'IPertensione Arteriosa.
Statisticamente il paziente ha molte più probabilità di avere un'ipertensione arteriosa e non un'ipertensione polmonare.
Con una ricerca su google per
ipa "ipertensione arteriosa polmonare" trovi 4250 risultati

Con una ricerca su google per
ipa "ipertensione arteriosa" -polmonare trovi 16000 risultati

Per quanto riguarda la frase "Poliposi colica in follow up colonscopico": il significato è che il paziente ha una poliposi del colon scoperta tempo fa (anni) ed esegue periodicamente una colonscopia di follow-up.
Quindi proporrei "follow-up colonoscopy for colic polyposis".

| Caro collega, hai assolutamente ragione. Come principiante quale sono io, ora che ho quasi completato il progetto, vedo quello che mi dici tu. In effetti... piu' avanti trovo IPERTENSIONE ARTERIOSA come parte della diagnosi senza acronimo questa volta ma e' la conferma che cercavo.HO imparato molto da questo progetto. E tu e' come se avessi letto il documento da tradurre senza nemmeno leggerlo. Complimenti. Grazie ancora. |

: E' la soluzione più giusta. Il mio tentativo di ricerca (in una notte insonne) era condizionato dal voler cercare una patologia gastrointestinale per coerenza con la poliposi e la MRGE. Ma sono arrivato ad altre specie viventi. Buona domenica
