French term

soluté véhicule

French to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals
From a SmPC
L'administration peut se faire soit en injection i.v. directe, soit en perfusion i.v. à l'aide d'un soluté véhicule (soluté de chlorure de sodium, glusoce ou sorbitol)
I'm not sure of the best term to use for this in a SmPC - I've thought of solute carrier, carrier solution/fluid - but none of these seem commonly used in this context. Is there a more commonly used term? My mind's a blank! Any help much appreciated as always.
