Your Nurse will have given you a discharge pack to help you establish an effective stoma routine from home.
It contains useful items designed to help you become accustomed to changing your stoma bag independently.
Inside your pack, you’ll find:
Discharge bag - ideal for storing the items you need for your routine Ostomy scissors - to cut your stoma bags to your template Clothes clip - use this to pin your clothes up so they don’t get in the way when changing your bag Water pot - fill this with water and use it with dry wipes to clean around your stoma (especially useful when out and about) Dry wipes - use with water to clean around your stoma when changing your bag Disposal bags - black bags to discreetly dispose of used stoma products Coloplast pen
