A: You’ve been gone for seven hours.
B: Well,we saw the whole town. And we had lunch. And supper.
A: Oh, well, I’m glad you ate. And don’t worry about me. I managed to find a can of soup from nineteen seventy-five in there, so I’m fine.
B: I’m sorry. I’m an awful friend. I know that. But you’d be surprised at how fast seven hours can pass. And you’re okay, right? You’re getting better?
A: Oh yes. I’m improving by leaps and bounds. In fact, you got home just in time to see me walk into the sea and end it all.
B: Look, I said I’m sorry. Accept my apology and move on, will ya?
A: Boy, you don’t give a person much time to wallow, do you?
La mia proposta:
[...]
Cerco soluzioni migliori. Grazie.
