teoría del haz de indicios

Spanish to English Social Sciences Economics
ILO report:

Seems more specific that the descriptive "mass of evidence"...but maybe not…

Thanks

Thanks! The only problem is that elsewhere in the text the phrase la "carga de la prueba" is used, which makes me think that this is something different

body/burden of (corroborating) evidence / theory of burden of proof

Explanation:
I could not find any reference to 'theory of body/burden of evidence'. However, there is a 'theory of burden of proof' based on a burden of evidence. So you could use 'body of evidence' in the first occurrence of "indicios" and 'theory of burden of proof' in the second occurrence.

'burden of evidence' or 'body of evidence'.

Peer comment(s):

neutral Robert Carter : Hi Muriel. It could well mean "body of evidence", but it has nothing to do with "burden of proof" as far as I can see, which is a different concept entirely (carga de prueba). Not sure why you've conflated the two.
