Dodgy English I think that "wherein" and "via" give a hint that this wasn't written by a native speaker of English. So, I wonder if you have a drawing or photo showing what this "pin column" looks like, or any dimensions.

In fact, this reminds me of the Chinglish instructions for installing a light I've just put up, where they called a wall anchor a "column hinge".
