Odbiorcy których posesje posiadają podłączenie do kanalizacji sanitarnej mają możliwość zamontowania dodatkowego wodomierza mierzącego wodę bezpowrotnie zużytą czyli taka z której nie powstają ścieki (np. podlewanie ogrodu), dzięki temu nie jest naliczana opłata za ścieki nie zrzucone do kanalizacji.

There can be a difference between the amount of water you use and the amount of wastewater you return to the sewer system.
Our 'wastewater abatement allowance' takes these differences into account for our customers who have a water meter and can prove that over ten per cent of the water they use does not return to our sewers for treatment.

Our charges for wastewater services already recognise that up to ten per cent of the water you use may not be returned to our sewers, but customers who meet the criteria below can make a claim for an additional allowance.

The sewerage volumetric charge assumes that on average, 5 per cent of the metered water supplied to customers is not returned to a
public sewer. This applies to all domestic customers and is already reflected in the sewerage charge. It covers things like evaporation
from cooking, cleaning, car washing, garden watering - basically any activity which results in some of the water supplied to your home
not returning to the public sewer.
