When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Germaine Jan 31, 2018:
À mon avis, cet "Agrément des constructeurs et des distributeurs" signifie que les constructeurs et distributeurs sont d'accord avec le procédé ou approuvent son emploi. "Agrément" est donc à prendre dans le sens de "agree with/consent to", i.e. "Approved by". Il n'y a là ni homologation, ni "licence agreement", ni "certification"; ces choses relèvent d'autorités reconnues, ce que ne sont pas les "constructeurs et distributeurs" en général.
Marco Solinas Jan 30, 2018:
to: Asker It means that the manufacturers and distributors are certified by a certifying organization (ISO, for example).
tatyana000 (asker) Jan 30, 2018:
I found the dictionary definition of "agrément" - approval, certification, accreditation, etc. But can anyone explain what they mean here exactly? What are they approving, or what are they being certified for?

neutral AllegroTrans : where does it say this is about licensing?// your ref proves nothing; this is not about licensing but about trade certification, and "agreement" is simply wrong in any case (faux ami)

See above the definition of 'agrément' in business and my attachment.
neutral philgoddard : And "agrément" doesn't mean "agreement".

neutral B D Finch : Not the correct translation of "agrément" (faux ami), and not a licence.//Yes, like the British Board of Agrément for the building industry. Still not a "licence".

neutral Germaine : I don't think so. The agrément is to the "Optimisation énergétique" (whatever it is) not to the Company (which is not an hospital, btw).
