Arabic term or phrase: بدون ريال
This concerns a lease agreement for leasing a store in a mall. The sentence is as follows:
على المستأجر أن يدفع للمؤجر مبلغ مقطوع وقدره بدون ريال (فقط بدون ريال لا غير)
Is this the Saudi way of saying "X riyal" or "indeterminate riyal" or "indefinite riyal"? Any references to back up any answer? Thanks.

Explanation:

Usually this would be typed leaving a dotted blank space to enter the sum manually (e.g.: []for the sum of 20000 Riyals). But, since there is no sum required in this case, they filled out the word 'without' in the blank space, which means NIL.

The tenant shall pay to the landlord a lump sum in the amount of NIL Riyals.

But if there is indeed a sum to fill out later once agreed to, then yes, your assumption of X> would be correct.
