Il s'agit ici d'un tutoriel destiné à un formateur en marketing digital (le client préfère à "numérique" mais c'est un autre débat). Il est ici question de campagnes digitales menées par l'intermédiaire de Google (AdWords) :

"AdWords is the advertising tool Google use.
Specify which search terms you would like your adverts to appear for.
Google judges you on relevance, how relevant you are to the search term you are advertising on impacts how much you pay to appear."

"Indiquez les termes de recherche auxquels vous souhaitez associer vos publicités.
Google vous juge sur la pertinence. Votre degré de pertinence quant au terme de recherche que vous publiez a des répercussions sur le montant que vous versez pour apparaître."

Quelque chose m'échappe dans la tournure "how relevant you are to the search term you are advertising on impacts how much you pay to appear". Je ne suis pas sûre d'avoir saisi.

I think what seems even odder to me here is the way they talk of 'you', when clearly, what they really mean is 'your company' etc.

As is so often the case when going from FR to EN, I think replacing some of the verbs with nouns (to pay > prix, to appear > parution) might make help make this smoother in FR.

Do note too that it is only 'impacts' = 'has an effect on' — it may not by any means be the only determining factor.

Je pense que vous avez bien saisi le sens. Ma version serait la suivante :

[...] la pertinence de votre publicité par rapport au terme recherché détermine le montant que vous payez pour que votre publicité apparaisse

L'auteur parle du "bid" minimum à partir duquel votre pub apparaît sur les écrans.
