That makes sense too but I'd expect it to be followed by something; e.g. "zero dollars in earnings" or "zero dollars profit".

A "product with zero dollars" sounds a little bit strange to me. "Zero dollar cost", "zero dollar price", etc. would obviously mean free or without charge but in this case I'm not sure.
