Hello I am looking for the French translation of the verb to relic associated with guitar straps.
The sentence is:
You can distress and relic the strap as much or as little as you like.
and is also in this sentence:
Use the relic test patch included in the tin to get to know your strap.
The translation is about a leather guitar strap on sale. How it is made, what is is made with and how to look after it.

vieillir/patiner
To relic one's guitar veut dire lui donner un aspect vieilli, patiné.

Can't even find "To relic" (ou "reliquer") in any dic, old or new.
