Exchange of info and tools can be:
• Technical and commercial information. This is available in the ICT system in all sites. No special transfer is needed.
• Digital information to make ***plates***. In case of digital information this can be done via ISDN lines, CD rom, …There is always a copy of digital files located in a safe room (bunker) on a FTP server to prevent damage. In case of films, the films must be sent.
• Colour standards for print check. These standards must be sent. If they are damaged, lost or not available it’s possible that the customer can be invited to approve the colours on the printing press or to make digital proofs if the information is digitally available.

D'abord, on dit "plaque d'imprimerie". Le terme générique pour ne pas se tromper est "forme imprimante". Plate peut se traduire "plaque" ou "cliché". Tout dépend du procédé. Comme on ne parle pas d'offset traditionnel, mais probablement de flexo pour le carton, j'y réfléchirais à deux fois avant de traduire "plaque". Plaque n'est pas incorrect cela dit, c'est juste pour pinailler.
D'autre part, tu écris "fabrication de carton", ce ne serait pas plutôt "impression de cartonnages"? Let op ... GB: carton = FR: cartonnage, carton plat. Et FR=: carton (ondulé) = GB: (corrugated) board.
