German term

engagiert und wirkungsvoll

German to English Bus/Financial Human Resources
Wir bitten Sie, uns weiterhin engagiert und wirkungsvoll in unserem Bemühen zur Sicherung des Unternehmenserfolgs zu unterstützen.

My suggestion:

We would ask you to continue your committed and effective support in our (mutual) efforts to ensure the success of our company.

I am not sure whether this is the best way to translate it. I have to say that I do not translate very often any more, so sometimes I lack the gut feeling I used to have and your suggestions are a big help.

Thanks very much

Inge

Woodstock (X) Sep 7, 2010:
Is this translation being done for the UK? In the US we would tend to be a little less formal than the answers proposed so far.//There were 3 when I wrote this, the fourth sounds more natural to me.

agree Woodstock (X) : I like this variation, the others seemed far too stiff and formal for my US sensibilities. :-) They might be fine for a different culture.
