Richard Kijjali NZOGI is an experienced applied linguist and translator with numerous contributions to hundreds of language service projects in over 40 Ugandan and other languages, spanning linguistic documentation and orthography standardization, translation and transcreation, interpretation, localization (subtitling, audio-video transcription, linguistic validation, editing, proofreading, native-language literature development (including dictionary making). Richard holds a master's degree in translation studies from the Africa International University, Nairobi, Kenya. He's writing his Ph.D. research dissertation in linguistics at Leiden University, The Netherlands. |
