When glass panes are cut, it contains micro cracks which can be dangerous during handling. Arrising is the process in which the edge and corners of a piece of ordinary glass is smoothened to ensure no sharpness remains. This helps prevent breakage and makes the glass safer to handle.

| Hi Shera, well done. In a hurry, I didn't realize the source English text typo mistake "arising" instead of **arrising**. Thank you for checking it out. After talking with the client, he pointed out that even though many sites report sfilettatrice the correct term is **filettatrice**. So, I entered **una terza linea automatica filettatrice della XXX**. This is for your info if you are going to enter any glossary. |
