More information would be useful Dec 13, 2005

I have Copernic, Yahoo and Google. Copernic has, I would say, the best features, but it crashes when opening txt files of more than half a megabyte. On the other hand, it works really well with large pdf files and Excel files.

Yahoo is the quickest at opening txt files and most other file types. Its big downfall though, for anyone translating FROM a language other than English, is that it does not work well at all with accents. Whether you search for a word with or without the accent, the program just does not seem to want to find it.

I'd have liked to have had more information in the article about the speed and user-friendliness of the other search programs.
