Freelance Medical and Pharmaceutical Linguist Needed

Lightrans Language Services is looking for skilled freelance medical and pharmaceutical translators to handle a variety of documents, including but not limited to medical records, clinical trial reports, pharmaceutical literature, and medical device manuals. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of medical and pharmaceutical terminology in both the source and target languages and will be capable of producing accurate, contextually appropriate translations.

Responsibilities:
Translate or review medical and pharmaceutical documents from English to Chinese, and vice versa.
Ensure translations are accurate, maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context.
Collaborate with our translation teams to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
Native or near-native proficiency in English and Chinese.
Proven experience in medical and pharmaceutical translation.
Strong knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology and concepts.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in CAT tools is a plus.
Relevant certification in medical or pharmaceutical translation is preferred but not mandatory.
