Problems with clean up: source language appears

Dear colleagues,

I have a problem with the clean up of a Word document. There is no error message, but the cleaned file appears only in the source language, not in the target language.
It is also not possible to preview the target document in the Tag Editor (error message: tag editor error, tag editor has to be closed).
I am working with SDL Trados 2006 Freelance, Windows XP.

Dear colleagues,

I have a problem with the clean up of a Word document. There is no error message, but the cleaned file appears only in the source language, not in the target language.

There are footnotes in the source document. Could this be the reason?

Hi Anja,
have you checked the log file for any possible error message? There must be something wrong with the export.

Cleanup failed Jun 1, 2009

Hi Stanislav,

I've checked the log file, but there's no error message. It says "cleanup sucessfully proceeded", but shows zero cleaned words and segments.

Hi Anja,
this seems strange indeed.
A rather stupid suggestion: have you made sure that the "Don't clean up" radio button in the "Clean up" dialog box is not selected before you press "Clean Up"?
