I would say “facilitator” is translated in LatAmer Spanish by “moderador”, in the context of a conference. Or “moderadora” if it is a woman.

“Facilitador” is widely understood and used in all Hispanosphere as an adjective [facilitative—that facilitates], whereas the noun, of recent and not yet extended usage, generally refers to the same concept of the English term “facilitator” (a person in charge of designing and running a meeting according to a previously agreed set of requirements). The term is also used more frequently in the Caribbean region, which Colombia is part of.
In contrast, the word “moderador”, which has approximately the same meaning is largely understood by every Spanish speaker.

François tiene razón: para una conferencia, lo usual es moderador, pero para una sesión de entrenamiento (... virtual training engagement...), es mas apropiado instructor.
Inclusive, tal y como lo ya explicado, facilitador es ampliamente usado, por lo cual no sería incorrecto.

: Theoretically possible, but even if the Army is involved here I tend to think that a general translation (moderador) is safer here.

As Francois says, "moderador" could be an option or even "ponente de la conferencia". However, now, the literal translation "facilitador" is becoming very popular and is mostly used in virtual sessions.
