English term

book to bill

English to Italian Bus/Financial Finance (general)
Buongiorno a tutti,

ho dei dubbi sulla traduzione di BOOK TO BILL all'interno di questa frase: we had an excess book to bill of €38m

book to bill

book to bill

book - order booking (order received)
bill - delivery invoicing (goods shipped & invoiced)
a positive book to bill figure indicates business growth - business gets now more new orders than those in the past (that were shipped and invoiced in the same time period as the new orders were received)
