Well, check-in can be both meanings. Please refer to the link provided. Anyways, and just for the sake of benefiting my colleagues, I found a third translation elsewhere which is إنهاء إجراءات السفر. Kindly note that the context here is about aviation and not hotels. Thanks

disagree yen_yang : i apologise, but the arabic translation means to make a reservation, on the other hand, check in means to stay in the hotel or resort or any relevant place, i am saying that coz i have work xperience in 5* hotels, so the best answer is Ms. Nadia Ayoub's

Sorry, but ,as the asker has kindly explained it, the context is about aviation and airlines flights and not hotels....Mrs Nadia´s answer is a good one, i don´t doubt it. yet, the asker may choose the most relevant one to his context. Thank you.
