Danish term

1.ordens model

Danish to English Science Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng chemical experiments
When calculating precipitation produced from a concoction that has been agitated, etc. and the "1.ordens model" is used for the calculation, does anyone know how to express 1.ordens model in English please?
At the moment I have "first order model" but don't know whether this is right or not.
TIA

First order model

If they are talking about calcuations using a model then it is common in dynamics to talk about a first order model. There is also second order model etc. It's about fitting a curve to the results and then using the mathematical formula to model the outcome and later applying it to similar situations. A first order model is a relatively simple model.

That's if they are modelling the agitation dynamics

First-order reaction model

A first-order reaction is a reaction that proceeds at a rate that depends only on one reactant concentration. I would add the word "model" at the end to complete the translation.
