Norwegian term

Smertefiguren

Norwegian to English Medical Medical (general) Norwegian medical - pain
Hei! I can't find an equivalent English term for this, can anyone help?

If it helps, the ST reads as follows:

"Smertefiguren bærer preg av smerter over .. kroppen".

"Pattern of pain"? Or do any of you know a more sophisticated term?

Takk for hjelpen!
Mvh
Alison.

pain locator chart/body pain map

“ A Pain Locator Chart, also known as a body pain map or diagram, is a visual tool healthcare professionals use to help patients identify, locate, and describe their pain more accurately.”

Or ‘pain syndrome’
If “smertefiguren” does not refer to a “body pain diagram”, but to the pain experienced by a patient, then I would suggest “pain syndrome” as the translation in this context.

pain pathway

The (patho-)physiology of pain perchance being too much to read into the source term, though pathology had been the first term that occurred to me.
Example sentence:

Pain pathway starts with noxious stimuli that may be mechanical, thermal, chemical, inflammatory, or tissue damage.
