Spanish term
D/C metástasis
Spanish to English
Medical
Medical (general)
Cancer
I am currently working on an MRI report from Peru.
Under "Motivo de Estudio," it says, "Dolor a novel lumbar. D/C metástasis. Antecedente de Ca de páncreas."
Would this be "Clinical diagnosis: metastasis"? It doesn't seem right.
Thanks in advance!

Metastasis
Is a word that doesn't have a translation. Is both language write the same only with out accent.
But yes it's a definition of cancer cell spread one place to a different one.
Esta es una palabra que no cambia en minguno de los 2 lenguajes solo la tilde. Se puede usar como diagnostico porque significa que las celulas de cancer se han desarrollado en otra parte del.cuerpo o se an ampliado.

Rule out/suspected
In the context of your sentence, it appears to be used as an abbreviation for "descartar" or "descarte" which in English can be translated as "rule out" or "suspected."
Example sentence:
Realizar RM para descartar una masa
