неуважаемые лично мной

русский => английский Право/Патенты Юриспруденция (в целом)
A rather strange letter from the Ministry of Justice to some of the claimants in a class action against an employer for non-payment of salaries. From what I can work out (very poor copy and more than the usual fuddle), these two have refused the payout on the grounds of it not being enough.

Неуважаемые лично мной г-да А.И.Л и Д.В.Д, такое же мнение о Вас я думаю разделяет около 300 человек - работков ЗАО ХХХ, так как проявляя видимо свойственное лично вам "хапужничество", вы начисто отвергаете принцип социальной справедливость.

Given that the letter is written from the presiding judge to 2 of the claimants, i´m not sure what tone this should take!

Mr A and Mr B, my disrespect to you is shared, I trust...

paraphrase - the pun in the source is based on the polite form of address - уважаемый - which literally means "respected" , and the author denies this address to the adsressees and says "disrespected"

my *personal* disrespect to you...

I mean you have to stick to this disrespect thing as it is so clearly pronounced in the original
Peer comment(s):

agree Alex Khanin : yes, the omitted word 'dear' is in itself a sign of disrespect // Sure, the rest is also essential

I guess here we need a more powerful indication )
agree Jack Doughty : "Esteemed" (noun "esteem") is more commonly used in these forms of address.// True, it would have to be "lack of esteem".

thank you. however "esteem" has no counterpart with a negative prefix that I know of - unlike the "respect - disrespect" pair

Мы ведь официальные письма обычно начинаем "Уважаемый такой-то такой-то". Правильно? А здесь автор подчеркивает, что лица, к которым он обращается, "неуважаемые", поэтому он к ним так и обратился:

Неуважаемые Иван Иванович и Семен Семенович!
