What translation project are you working on right now?
Just finished subtitling three 5 minute videos for Awareness program of COVID-19 We are presently working on Crowd sourcing project of Google, a transcription project collaborated with Transgalaxia and Eccellente. We started this from April, but because of some unwanted incidents, It took a month to set things up. Consequently, we trained our resources and started from May. In these three months we worked not more than 50 days and completed approximately 185000 utterances successfully. And now we have made our capacity to QC 20000 utterances and review 30000 utterances a day and 900000 utterances a month, with quality of course. I headed the team and my colleague A.S.M. Ariful Anam, a well known translator, transcriber, Subtitle artist at Zoo, played the role of Project Manager cum Executive Director very skillfully. I feel wonderful to have him as a colleague, friend and brother working in this field. Together we can do anything. QC, google crowd compute project.
