Hello!

My name is Leonardo Buzatto and I am a full-time translator from Brazil.

I've been creating captions and translating movies and online series as a hobby for many years. Furthermore, I also gained one year of work experience abroad, on a cruise ship, where I communicated in English with crew members and clients.

My original degree is in Psychology, and I'm confident that my academic background qualifies me to work on translating complex topics, such as educational content.

For the past five years, I have been actively creating subtitles professionally. Moreover, I undertook a course to upgrade my subtitling abilities.

As part of my previous job, I was in charge of creating subtitles for various projects, such as films, TV shows, documentaries, and online videos on platforms like YouTube and TikTok. As a translator, I have worked on various projects including press releases, restaurant menus, story chapters for an interactive mobile game, and portions of young adult novels. For several months, I focused on entering data into a database to support machine learning efforts.

My current occupation involves working as a freelancer for both individual clients and agencies.

I'm looking for both one-off jobs and long-term collaborative projects. I am open to negotiating my rates. At your request, I am more than willing to showcase my skills and happily complete a test.
