In these clauses, “War Risks” shall include any blockade or any action which is announced as a blockade by any Government or by any belligerent or by any organized body, sabotaje, piracy, and any actual or threatened war, hostilities, warlike operations, civil war, civil commotion, or revolution.
If at any time before the Vessel commences loading, it appears that performance of the Contract will subject the Vessel or her Master and crew or her cargo to war risks at any stage of the adventure, the Owners shall be entitled by letter or telegram despatched to the Charterers, to cancel this Contract.
The Master shall not be required to load cargo or to continue loading or to proceed on or to sign Bill(s) of Lading for any adventure on which or any port at which it appears that the Vessel, her Master and crew or her cargo will be subjected to war risks. In the event of the exercise by the Master of his right under this Clause after part or full cargo has been loaded, the Master shall be at liberty either to discharge such cargo at the loading port or to proceed therewith. In the latter case, the Vessel shall have liberty to carry other cargo for Owners’ benefit and accordingly to proceed to and load or discharge such other cargo at any other port or ports whatsoever, backwards or forwards, although in a contrary direction to or out of or beyond the ordinary route. In the event of the Master electing to proceed with part cargo under Clause freight shall in any case be payable on the quantity delivered.
Translation - Spanish Riesgos de Guerra
En estas cláusulas, “Riesgos de Guerra” incluirá cualquier bloqueo o cualquier acción que sea anunciada como un bloqueo por cualquier Gobierno o por cualquier parte beligerante o por cualquier ente organizado, así como sabotaje, piratería y cualquier guerra verdadera o amenaza de guerra, hostilidades, operaciones bélicas, guerra civil, conmoción civil o revolución.
Si, en cualquier momento, antes de que el Buque comience a cargar, da la impresión de que la ejecución de este Contrato someterá al Buque o a su Capitán y tripulación o cargamento a riesgos de guerra en cualquier etapa de la travesía, los Propietarios tendrán derecho, por medio de carta o telegrama despachado a los Fletadores, a cancelar este Contrato.
Al Capitán no se le exigirá cargar la mercancía o continuar cargando o proceder con el/los Conocimiento(s) de Embarque o firmarlo(s) para cualquier travesía o puerto en el que de la impresión de que cualquier Buque, su Capitán y tripulación o su cargamento estarán sometidos a riesgos de guerra. En el caso de que el Capitán ejerza su derecho bajo esta Cláusula después de que parte de las mercancías o todas las mercancías hayan sido cargadas, el Capitán tendrá libertad ya sea para descargar estas mercancías en el puerto de carga o proceder con la travesía. En este último caso, el buque tendrá libertad para transportar otras mercancías para beneficio de los Propietarios y, en consecuencia, proseguir con la travesía, y cargar o descargar estas otras mercancías en cualquier otro puerto o puertos de la clase que sea, hacia atrás o hacia delante, aunque sea en una dirección contraria a la ruta ordinaria, o fuera de ésta o más allá de ésta. En caso de que el Capitán decida proseguir con un cargamento parcial bajo la Cláusula, el flete será pagadero, en cualquier caso, sobre la cantidad entregada.

I have completed my translation and interpretation certificates at the Berlitz School of Translators and Interpreters in Caracas, and have been granted a license diploma in 1989 as a Legal Translator by the Ministry of Justice of Venezuela, thus possessing a deep and extensive knowledge in the legal translation world.
One of my strongest qualities is my close connection to the English language and culture. My fluency in English comes as a result of an extended period of living and studying in the cities of Boston, Houston, Denver, and Orlando, in the United States of America.
My university Degree in Sociology with a Thesis in Linguistics makes me particularly skillful in the translation of themes related to the social sciences, literature and language-related themes. I have experience in translating social, psychotherapy, sociological, psychological, and humanities texts.
I also have an extensive background in translating for the banking and finance sector. As a free lance translator for various software companies in Venezuela, I have mastered the peculiarities of technical and IT translation as well as localisation.
Another field where I can prove my experience is the Oil and Gas Industry, where I have worked in a number of translation jobs throughout my career.
I translate with precision and attention to meanings and style. I am fluent in MS Office and other CAT tools.
